So what is The Mighty exactly? It is a blog site that I follow for people with chronic illness or for friends and family of those with illnesses. Here is a small excerpt from their site:
We’re creating a safe platform for our community to tell their stories, connect with others and raise support for the causes they believe in. We are stronger when we face adversity together, and we know it. We’ve also partnered with over 100 nonprofit allies to deliver their excellent resources to our community.
You have probably seen many of their articles circulating across Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms. They take blog posts from chronic illness bloggers all over the world and repost them for their millions of readers to read and relate to. It’s what unites us. I am so excited to be part of that family. I look forward to writing more blog posts of my own to add to this amazing organization!
I hope you’re all feeling well tonight, I know I’m not feeling my best – seizures and all that – but I’m not letting it take away my joy tonight!
