Many times, doctors will tell you your diagnosis and it’s not necessarily what’s written on your official paperwork that goes to your insurance. A lot of doctors still use old language, names of illnesses that are out of date or just not used anymore when talking with you. It’s important to know the facts, for your own knowledge. Also, knowing current terminology is important to pass forward. We don’t want to be stuck with outdated information when talking to others.

Hey guys! So today I went to my neurologists office that is 1hr and 45min away. We decided to bring our teens with us, cause you know, we’re cruel and unusual. They were bored out of their minds and opted to stay in the car. Such is life! The appointment proved beneficial. We have a plan and I’m happy to get started. They took several blood samples and I have prescriptions for a new MRI and an EEG. While I’ve had both many times over the last 14 years, it’s definitely time for a new MRI. I had an extensive EEG last year, but we still haven’t ruled out seizures 100%. Anyway, you can hear all about it in my Facebook video above.
